At the Annual Membership Meeting on May 22, 2019, members voted to amend Article II, Section 2, of our Bylaws. View Amendment.

This amendment changed the date of the Annual Membership Meeting from the month of May to the month of February.

It is hoped that no longer having the Annual Membership Meeting so close to the Law Day Dinner or during a time of year when members are often on vacation or attending graduations will improve members’ ability to attend the meeting.

For the 2019-2020 membership year only, this means a shortened year, from May 2019 – February 2020. Going forward, board member terms will also expire in February rather than in May.

At this year’s Annual Membership Meeting, held last week, the members present voted to pass a dues resolution to set dues as follows:

A. Members who have been admitted to practice five years or more: $40
B. Members who have not been admitted to practice more than five years: $25
C. Members who are retired: $0
D. Student Members: $0

These dues changes are effective for the 2019-2020 renewal/registration period.
